Ecstasy & Surrender

Ecstasy & Surrender is a series of collaborative, messy scenes and performances that often involve pouring paint over one or more people. The intention is to celebrate creativity and connect with a primal playfulness. The messiness invites exploration and disarms fears. The sensualness invites embodiment and tactile joy.┬áSometimes there’s a form or story line to the scene. Other times, it intuitively unfolds. From each collaboration, I collect photographs, videos, body prints and spontaneous paintings to document the process. These become reference for further works of art like drawings, paintings and videos.
This is a rotating sample of the project going back to 2013.
